Pearlhead Distilling is a distillery based in the Hudson Valley, New York. Dan, the owner, approached me with an idea that captures his love for distilling, and the alien based lore surrounding the Hudson Valley. He wanted a strong brand that leans into the UFO mysteries surrounding the area.

The logo was created based on a UFO that many residents claimed to witness. It was nicknamed the “Boomerang” based on its triangular, boomerang-like shape. He wanted the brand to follow suit with a dark, grungy, mysterious tone.
