Anam Cara is a sanctuary farm located in East Haddam, Connecticut, dedicated to providing a safe haven for animals rescued from abusive or neglected environments.
Founded by Sean and Colleen, a devoted couple, the farm fulfills their vision of integrating their passion for animal welfare with holistic health and wellness. They offer a variety of enriching activities, including yoga and sound bath meditation, hosted on the farm, and welcome visitors to engage with nature and connect with their contented animals.
It was a privilege to collaborate with this inspiring couple, supporting their mission to bring joy and healing to both animals and people.
When talking with Colleen and Sean about their logo, they had a few things they absolutely wanted incorporated into their logo. They wanted to honor their Irish roots with a Celtic font and a Trinity Knot, a symbol that means a lot to them and the love they wanted to portray at their farm. They wanted something simple and clean that they can add to letterheads, email signatures, and something easy to print for sponsorship flyers for different events they are involved in within their community.
I started with an outline of their big barn that sits right in the center of their farm that houses a large portion of their rescued animals. A Trinity Knot in the center to symbolize their love an commitment to each and every animal and to portray that they are open to rescuing any type of animal in need.
